Sure, tablet-style computers let you walk around the house pretending you’re in a Star Trek episode. They can be good for surfing the web, watching videos, or even writing short messages. But if you want to get some serious work done, nothing beats a full sized keyboard. But who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too?

The KeyCase iPad Folio is a carrying case for the iPad that has a built-in keyboard which you can connect to the iPad over a Bluetooth connection.

The case has a “leather style” exterior, while the Bluetooth 2.0 keyboard is made of silicone, which makes it dust-proof and spill-proof, although I wouldn’t expect it to feel just like a typical plastic keyboard. The keyboard battery is supposed to be good for up to 45 hours, and the keyboard goes to sleep automatically after it hasn’t been used for about 10 minutes.

UK retailer GearZap sells the case for about $92, but doesn’t have it in stock at the moment. Wireless Goodness spotted an FCC listing for what looks like the OEM version of the KeyCase, so it looks like it should be headed to the US soon.
