Till now no crack/patch/activator is working with this build, so, please use the rearm tool to extend the evaluation period upto 120 days:
rearm tool.: after 30 days type this command with administrative privilege : slmgr.vbs -rearm

This will extend the trial period for another 30 days. you can do it three times.

activation crack orbit not work

The cracks/patches by Orbit30 do work.
I have tested at least 6 of them.  All work, but they only give you until 6-01-2010. Then the Evaluation Period ENds.
I have also tested several other patches-cracks they also work. but they only give you until 6-01-2010. Eval ends then.
It is still recommended to use the LEGIT. slmgr.vbs -rearm method.
1. you have 30 days with initial install.
2. 4 Rearms = 30 days ea or 120 days. extra
3. Rearms and initial period = 150 days....
4. Disk(s) will be available by then. and many LEGIT version + keys will be available to legit buyers.

The only STUPID Question is the one you never asked.

Rearm Windows 7
« Reply #5 on: July 19, 2009, 01:40:26 AM »
Rearm Windows 7 to extend your evaluation by 30 days (totally legal)

If you want some more time to test Windows 7, then you can rearm Windows 7 a couple times. Open “cmd.exe” (enter cmd into search field) and use these commands to rearm Windows 7. Make sure to run cmd as admin (right-click “run as admin”)!

slmgr.vbs /rilc (reinstall license)

slmgr.vbs /rearm (extend evaluation by 30 days)

Are those dates written the American way or the British way?  To avoid confusion wouldn't it be better to write the month instead of using a number?

Actually you have only extended the evaluation time (using a RC KEY).  You can also extend a little bit more  like 3 x you can -rearm.
You will also have to (1.) reinstall a newer version to get more time (2.) find a better patch (3.) enter a LEGIT KEY or SLIC to actually activate the FULL VERSION.
(?1.) if your version is .16385  that is by all thinking it is RTM. and not other version will be released.
(?2.) a better patch is hard to find. and most patches require you to remove the last patch to apply the newer patch.(do you know how to do that?)
(?3.) That is the next option. Buy the License or Legit Key. then use MS vbs script to insert the new license or the new key which ever method you chose.
The only STUPID Question is the one you never asked.

Hi, sorry for my ignorance, but I understood that for REARMING the system, we do have only 3 opportunities which will make just 90 days!
Is there any other work around? rather than installing any available activation patch?  ???

Thanks,
Flavio

Windows 7 RC installs with a 30 day testing period, then it can be rearmed 3 more times allowing a total of 120 days.  In that time the RTM will have been issued world wide and being bought and installed.  I feel sure, directly after the release of the RTM there will be a work around to the activation issues, as there was with the past 2 Windows releases.

As I have stated in numerous posts, all of this wory about activation and expiration dates is minor when looking at the big picture.  I promised then and reiterate today, Days after the RTM release, there will be a working work around to the activation issue, furthermore there will be absolutely no expiration.

I have never understood why everybody was so concerned about the expiration date to begin with.  Since Jan. (7 months ago) so many people have worried themselves sick and this has been a very big topic of discussion on this forum over when my copy is going to expire.  It is not as if these Betas and RC's  are going to be used for the next 4-5 years, and if anybody plans on using one that long they need to seek medical help FAST!

I used the toolkit 1.8 for both my ThinkPad x200s and my Samsung Q1U -- seemed to work (winver tells me I'm good until 3/2010) but I keep getting warning msg. on both machines that my windows is not genuine and I need to reinstall windows.   Did I do something wrong?

Hi,

I used this program to activate my copy of W7 B7600.16385 and posted pictures of the activation status.  I have noticed when I check my system info page that the activation is no longer present.  After leaving the system info page open roughly 2-3 minutes I then see it is activated.  I am able to update and get no error messages.

Here is a recent copy of my winver, and as for the expirtion date, that does not bother me in the least.  I hope this helps to alleviate
some of the concerns regarding activation of your particular version of Windows 7.

I have said and say again, a day or 2 after the RTM is released I promise there will be a working work around to the activation issues of Windows 7 RTM.  There has been as far back as I can remember using Windows Operating Systems.  You ALL have to keep in mind we are still in a testing phase.

Firstly my activation failed.  Secondly it was a success.  After 4 reboots, I checked that the activation was still in place, yet it said I had "28 Days to Activate".  So I used it again.  It worked, however I have the annoying Evaluation Period in winver Expiring on 2/03/09.

Hope this helps...  Will everyone continue to use the RTM after the retail comes out or not?

RTM is the one that manufactures get and the retail version is what the general public buy.

You know, I remember years ago after XP was launched that someone created some sort of key generator that you would run in XP and leave for hours, and it would 'find' genuine keys off the OS. It was called blue something I think? I know it caused quite a stir at the time cause it would ruin Microsoft's validation thing. But it actually worked.

Now I would of thought that someone would have done the same sort of program for Vista/7 too?

I don't suppose anyone has heard of anything like this?

Don't get me wrong, I have already purchased 2 copies of Windows 7 which are being delivered to my door on October 26th. But if this sort of program was available, at least we wouldn't need to rely on this patching business for these leaks.

This was also done for Vista and it was called One Click Activation, and I assure people it will be done for Win7 too once it is released, and it will work too.
