Microsoft recently promised an update to the Windows 10 Technical Preview, which is expected to be released in the coming weeks. Some new details about it are now out.

Rumors mostly, pointing towards what’s next for users that installed the Technical Preview.

First up is the talk that this next build will come with a more polished UI. Microsoft has been getting a fair amount of feedback requests asking for some new animations — and it appears that the company will answer them in the upcoming update.

The Notifications Center is another [element that has been in the news lately.

A workaround provides a basic, barebones implementation of this feature, but there is no clear indication that it will be included in the next version of the Windows 10 Technical Preview.

Speaking of which, Redmond is said to have distributed builds in the 9860 class of releases.

These versions are circulating among a large group of testers, and chances are that a build in the range of 9860 might well be the next version that is made publicly available to users. Hopefully, it arrives sometimes next week, or at most by the end of the month.

Monthly updates leading up to the final version is the way to go!
