The New Battery Saver Feature In Windows 10
« on: October 22, 2014, 02:47:24 PM »

Microsoft yesterday released a new Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9860 for its Windows Insider members. The new build included new animations, Action Center and few other changes. In addition to those, Microsoft also included several new features such as Battery Sense, DataSense and more.

Let us take a look at the new Battery Saver feature in Windows 10. First of all, it is not fully functional in the current technical preview build. You can find Battery Saver under PC Settings. Battery Saver conserves battery by limiting background activity and adjusting hardware settings. Battery Saver will turn on automatically if you like, and also you can do it manually whenever needed.

You will also have options to set Automatic Rules that define when Battery Saver mode should kick off. For example, Turn Battery Saver on when battery gets below x percentage.
