it has a watermark because iti is the fake build 6.1.7600 that the chinese stupid man leaked as "real RTM build 7600"
windows 7 build 7600 is 7.7600.16384
why so serious?

The watermark appears after you swap the token and pkey files.

it has a watermark because iti is the fake build 6.1.7600 that the chinese stupid man leaked as "real RTM build 7600"
windows 7 build 7600 is 7.7600.16384

And no it is not fake. But its not the final release either.

ON TOPIC:
And also the activation does not work after reboot it goes downhill.

Probably because you don't mention if we should completley disable the software protection service or just temporarily stop it for the copy/paste-ing.

A BIT OFF TOPIC:

Seriously who had the dumb idea to show passwords in plain text in the registration form and also send plain text passwords via mail.  ??? (Its not funny if you take this site seriously)

Check your settings, because it appears they are set to plain text.  When I enter passwords they DO NOT appear as text characters.

Checked the settings its the same in firefox as in IE. Its about the register page not the login.
I think its using a normal textbox instead of a password textbox.

I removed the other posts.

I checked the source code for you:

Login form

<input type="text" name="user" size="10" />
<input type="password" name="passwrd" size="10" />

Register form

<input type="text" name="user" />
<input type="text" name="email" />
<input type="text" name="passwrd1" />
<input type="text" name="passwrd2" />

Please do change the input type of password fields to password type. :)

Can we get a clarification on this, DOES it or DOESN'T it work AFTER a reboot, and does if work reliably ALL the time. If not, I don't see any point in upgrading to this "RTM" until the final RTM comes out and we have a proper way to activate. I know people say it works, but does it work all the time on 64 bit? Yes. Or no?

For me it did not work. i tested it on the 64bit version. It goes ok activates like it should. Then you hit update. Install the deffender update. Reboot. Then you get the reinstall windows because you copy is not genuine.

The work around worked OK for me with the 32 bit version -- when first installed there is no build number, just Windows 7 as version -- after swapping the two files and turning the service back on the "Windows 7 build 7600" appears with a comment "Not a genuine copy of Windows" -- then I was able to use my RC product key and activate it -- rebooted and the note in lower right was replaced by "Windows 7 Evaluation copy Build 7600" ....  just the latest build number.  So rebooting did not affect activation.

In other words, for the 32-bit version it worked and I have a "nearly RTM" build working fine.
