Windows 7 x64 on 2 GB?

Hey guys,

I have a T61 Thinkpad with 2 GB of RAM and a 2.2 GHz dual core processor currently running 32 bit Windows 7. I was wondering if I would notice any improvements by switching to Windows 7 64 bit.

Does your processor support 64 bit? Mine does and I have 2GB RAM and ran Windows 7 Build 7048 x64 with on minore problem.. A little lag with 2GB RAM.

Yeh my processor does support 64 bit, I was just wondering if it would run smoother than 32 bit with 2 GB of RAM.
