Paste & Go Feature Confirmed For Microsoft Edge
« on: July 08, 2015, 02:31:06 AM »
Awesomeness confirmed? Redmond has confirmed that one of the handier of features, the Paste & Go option, will be coming to Microsoft Edge in a future update.

The company’s new web browser is built form the ground up — meaning it misses a lot of options that are available on rival solutions like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. But Microsoft has done a solid job until now of adding new features to the default browser on Windows 10.

Maybe not great, but a very good job.

But one option that has been requested and up voted by more than 1,200 users in the Windows Feedback app is for the popular Paste & Go support.

As the name reveals, this is basically allowing users to right-click the address bar, paste the link that they have in the clipboard and load it directly without having to press the Enter key or the Go button on the web browser.

Convenience.

The company has recently confirmed that they have received this feedback and plan to use this to improve the experience. In plain English, it means that it will be added in at some point in the future.

Maybe even in the Windows 10 RTM, if luck holds.

It’s not exactly rocket science to add this simple a feature in, just a good day’s work for the development team in charge of Edge.
