Windows 8 Tip: Uninstalling Metro apps

With Windows 8, Microsoft introduced a new category of apps called the Metro apps. Microsoft also introduced Windows Store from where these apps can be installed.

But what if you installed a Metro app and the app turned out to be useless? How will you uninstall that app?

You can uninstall desktop apps by going to Programs and Features in the control panel. But this time, Microsoft introduced a better and a lot easier way of uninstalling these metro apps.

To uninstall any metro app, first right click on that metro app. Then a bar will pop out from the bottom of the screen.



The bar will have an option to Uninstall the app. Just select the uninstall option and rest will be done by Windows.

This way, you will be able to uninstall any metro app easily and quicly.
