Agent Locke’s backstory coming in Halo Nightfall
« on: June 15, 2014, 10:10:42 PM »

During the Master Chief Collection trailer, you can hear Keith David (voice actor of The Arbiter) talking to the new Spartan and call him by the name of Agent Locke. While we don’t know what role Agent Locke is going to play (good or bad guy), we know that he’s being tasked with one mission – to find the Master Chief.

343 Industries head Bonnie Ross revealed to Polygon that Agent Locke will play a “key role in Halo 5: Guardians”, which is fitting considering he is gracing the cover of Halo 5: Guardians along with the Master Chief.  Bonnie Ross also unveiled to Polygon that the upcoming digital feature “Halo Nightfall” will be used to tell Agent Locke’s back story and origin story.

Bonnie Ross also commented about Halo Nightfall saying “You don’t have to watch this, but knowing this will kind of tee you up for all the new things that are going on in Halo 5: Guardians”.  So if you are a fan of the Halo story-line, you are not going to want to miss out on this digital series!

Halo Nightfall is a digital series being produced by Ridley Scott.  If you purchase the Master Chief Collection you will get full access to Halo Nightfall as well as a lot of other cool extras including hidden terminals that are being added into Halo 2!
