Windows7 ServicePack1
At May 23 Microsoft has compiled Build 7138 it seems that this is a Servicepack for implementing features in or ... just out!
It should definitely one of the first Windows 7 Service Pack 1 builds, build for the new development line, created differ from those of main line (winmain). What new features Windows 7 Service Pack 1 will bring is currently still unclear.
Probably Microsoft wants to manage some functions it have been used for temporal reasons who are no longer in the first final output. The completion of Windows 7 should be officially in August but apparently a part of the job will be done already July 10.

It was first presented by Russian site WZOR known by accurate posts, here is the original comment translated and some extra comment and 2 pic's.
Once again Wzor.info has posted a controversial post about Microsoft windows 7.  As per Wzor Microsoft has started working on Windows 7 Service Pack 1 labeled as 7138.0.090523-xxxx-winmain_win7xxx_sp1_x, though compilation date can not be found as build number is blocked in a screenshot posted by wzor.

We have no idea why Microsoft would start working on Windows 7 SP1 so early and it makes no senses of having service pack before actual Windows 7 release. This could mean Microsoft is in process of implementing features which will be left out of Windows 7 final release due to time constrain.
Who knows it may be another marketing strategy of Microsoft to popularize Windows 7 among users.

As The Site writes, it doesn't currently plan to release any of these SP1 builds.

Also, today is a day of Windows 7 RC2 sign-off. When the situation with RC2 becomes clear, The Site will decide what to release: either SP1 or "something more interesting".

Windows 7 SP1 builds are currently available in the following languages: en-us, de-de, fr-fr, ja-jp, es-es. But Microsoft doesn't provide language packs for non-main branches (so as I understand their words, SP1 builds available in 5 languages as images, but no LIPs / LPs for them available).

Windows 7 RTM is planned for the end of july.

Windows 7 RTM vs. Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Microsoft’s upcoming Windows client and server operating systems have the potential to break the mold of the RTM vs. Service Pack 1 milestones in the context of customers giving themselves green light to embrace the platforms. Windows 7 will make reality what the Redmond company has gone head over heels promoting for its precursor, Windows Vista: waiting for Service Pack 1 will not be necessary, the RTM build will do just fine. Market analysis firm Gartner predicted that “Windows 7 will not need SP1” in a research authored by Gartner analyst, Michael A. Silver. Still, Silver emphasized that business customers would only start deploying Windows 7 at scale anywhere from 12 to 18 months after the operating system was released.

“The first Service Pack for Windows 7 is not necessary for the operating system's stability and security readiness. However, organizations likely won't be ready to deploy Windows 7 before SP1 ships, so they will include it in their initial deployments,” Silver said. “Windows 7 is basically an incremental release of Windows Vista. This has many organizations wondering whether they will be able to begin their Windows 7 deployments within a few months after it ships and without waiting for SP1. Lack of official ISV support likely will delay deployments until after SP1 arrives. That being the case, organizations should plan to integrate SP1 into their initial deployments to reduce the number of major changes that will need to be distributed to production systems.”

Yesterday we had posted about Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack 1 under development as reported by wzor.info. This news itself is enough to generate buzz for Windows 7 as it never happened in past where MS has started working on Service pack before releasing final product. However wzor.info being trusted source we cannot deny the news of Windows 7 Sp1. By Now many users have started speculating what could be reason for Microsoft to start Windows 7 Service pack 1 development.
One reason which we had speculated yesterday was Microsoft may have planned much more than what we have seen in Latest Windows 7 RC and to avoid any possible delay in releasing Windows 7 Microsoft may have dropped number of features from final Windows 7 RTM release and planned to include in Windows 7 Sp 1.

To support Windows 7 Service Pack 1 story wzor has once again posted a new set of screenshots and this time we have screenshots of both Windows 7 Service Pack 1 build 7138 x86 & x64.

One interim build of Windows 7 that manages to stand out from the crowd is 7138. Windows 7 Build 7138 comes with Service Pack 1 already installed according to information leaked by Wzor. Both copies of the Windows 7 client Build 7138 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Build 7138 feature Service Pack 1 already installed. The full build string for both the client and the server version is 7138.winmain_win7ids_sp090523-2200.
No word from Microsoft on just what the new Windows 7 SP1 builds mean, but it is highly unlikely that the Redmond-based company has already debuted the building and testing of the first service pack for Windows 7. My best guess is that the software giant is simply testing the mechanism of integrating service packs into Windows 7, but it is nothing more than a guess. However, from the screenshots leaked in the wild, it appears that 7138.winmain_win7ids_sp090523-2200 is as real as it gets. Furthermore, it seems that Microsoft has moved as high as 7141.0.winmain_win7ids_sp.090528 with the Windows 7 builds containing service pack 1.

After a silence Wzor is back in business with the screenshots of Windows 7 Build 7138 with service pack 1. Yes the first service pack appears before the shipping of Windows 7. It seems redmond giant are working on Service pack with theBeta developement.  So what will be the next leak another build of Windows 7 or the Pre SP1. No wonder if we see SP1 leaked on bit-torrent and rapidshare very soon. Wzor is the most trustworthy source of Windows 7  and we can’t neglect his claims. The news of Service pack is old but we haven’t any screenshot till now but earlier Gartner indicated the possibility of  SP1 With Initial Windows 7 Deployment. Microsoft learned lots of lessons from Vista and the don’t want to take chances with Windows 7 “ By the time all the above work is performed, there’s a good chance that SP1 will already have shipped. As long as SP1 is available, most organizations will deploy their PCs with it.There is another good reason to use SP1 when deploying a new OS instead of the initial version (we call the initial release “SP0″). The greatest number of fixes will generally be released soon after a product ships. As a product ages, fewer things need to be fixed. Therefore, the time between Service Packs will increase as a product ages. Microsoft will only support a Service Pack for 24 months after the successive Service Pack ships. Thus, deploying systems with SP1 will mean that SP1 will not need to be deployed after the OS ships, and more time will pass before a Service Pack needs to be deployed. For example, if SP1 will ship nine to 12 months after SP0, but SP2 does not ship until at least 24 months after SP1, then the initial deployment will run almost 16 months longer before support for that Service Pack expires and SP2 must be deployed. Service Pack release timing should not be taken as an official prediction or estimate of timing.”
