Windows7NewsInfo Newsletter 2009 Final Edition
« Reply #1 on: December 31, 2009, 01:30:50 PM »

Hello Guests, Invitees and all Members on windows 7 news and info,

As twilight falls on 2009 it is always a good time to look back and see where we came from to get to where we are.  Just a few short months ago (10 to be exact) W7NI was in its infancy, we had a hand full of members all having the same goal, to learn all we could about Windows 7 Microsoft’s upcoming Operating System.  In those days Windows 7 was mentioned in terms of alpha or beta, with rumors of a beta iteration being released to public testers or leaked.

There was the occasional concept of wallpaper, start buttons (orb), quick launch being replaced by Aero Peek etc. would show up on the net, and we all hung on and wished for more.  W7NI continued to grow which of course gave us access to more talk of releases on the horizon, and whispers of what’s to come.

Once a beta was leaked to the torrents that news spread like wildfire, and our forum was alive with chatter.  Every member was looking for download links, and serials to activate.  System Requirements, Installation, Drivers and more then became the major topic of discussion on the forum.

As the forum grew and more questions arose, more boards had to be created to keep topics in order, and to avoid a hodgepodge of misplaced topics, while membership steadily grew.  Worldwide staffing became a reality in order to maintain the concept of a Clean, Spam Free and Advertisement Free environment.

At times we saw small bits and pieces regarding Windows 8 or Windows 9, albeit both off in the distant future on April 11, 2009 W8Ni and Nov 9, 2009 W9N.i were established.  Our main interest still being Windows 7, we Welcome all new members. Following this link > http://www.windows7newsinfo.com/smf/index.php?action=register I cordially invite you to join us, find out what you are missing and what membership has to offer.

The comradery enjoyed is bound by the sheer interest in Windows 7 and making our own installation better and possibly helping to improve a fellow member’s installation by sharing the knowledge we all have gained through past experiences and current practices.  It takes dedication and a forum such as Windows7NewsInfo to accomplish such things in a Clean, Spam Free, Advertisement Free Open Forum while forming lasting friendships no matter nationality, ethnic beliefs or geographic location.  We welcome membership 24/7/365 and it is always FREE.

With the dawning of 2010, we will continue working to make Win7 the best it can be for all of us, all the while keeping an eye focused on Windows 8, and look forward to any alpha’s, beta’s and whatever else comes our way keeping all members informed to any breaking events from the world of Microsoft and Windows.

The entire staff and I at W7NI wish for you our valued members, and any who join us a very Happy and Prosperous 2010 Year of the Tiger.
