The new game show 1 vs. 100 launched into its open beta on Xbox LIVE at the beginning of this month. Originally announced at CES back in January, the show represents an entirely new format for Xbox LIVE games: a real-time, interactive game with a live host that’s played at specific times of the day. It’s just like a real game show in the fact that you have to “tune in” to play along. Except in this case, instead of just watching the contests on your TV win and lose, you are the contest and you have the chance to win.
What can you win? Why, fabulous prizes, of course! You’ll have a chance to win prizes like a home theater system with and HDTV, laptop computers, Zunes, LIVE Arcade games, or even a digital camera just for participating. In the future, skill-based prizes will also be awarded, but not during the game’s beta period.
