« on: December 30, 2015, 11:19:31 PM »
Budget tablet maker E Fun is updating its line of 2-in-1 tablets with four new models sporting Intel Atom x5-Z8300 Cherry Trail processors.

The company will show off three new Windows 10 models and one new Android tablet at the Consumer Electronics Show next week, but E Fun is already offering up most of the important details about the new 2-in-1 devices.

The tablets should be available starting in the second quarter of 2016 for $150 and up.

The Windows tablets each have 2GB of RAM, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB port, micro HDMI ports, IPS displays, front and rear cameras, and detachable keyboards.

E Fun will offer three different sizes:

$150 Nextbook Flexx 9A with 8.9 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display and 32GB of storage

$200 Nextbook Flexx 10A with 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display and 32GB of storage

$250 Nextbook Flexx 11A with 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display and 64GB of storage

Each model also has a microSD card slot for up to 64GB of removable storage.

At first glance this model looks a lot like the 11.6 inch Windows tablet: it has the same screen, memory, storage, and processor.

But the 11.6 inch Nextbook Ares 11A runs ANdroid 5.1 Lollipop softwaer, has a $220 price tag, and features a backlit keyboard.
