Run older software under Windows 7

Have some older software that you're trying to run under Windows 7?  If the software is not working as expected, try running it in compatibility mode before giving up. To use compatibility mode, right click the programme's EXE file and select Properties from the pop-up menu.

Select the Compatibility tab and check the box labelled "Run this programme in compatibility mode for," and then choose the version of Windows that's compatible with the programme.
