It's another month, which means it's time for another security patch from Google. This month, the firm is making some improvements to the overall usability of its Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones, which will undoubtedly be welcome.

The updated bulletin (http://source.android.com/security/bulletin/pixel/2019-03-01.html), posted today, doesn't include any security patches for the Pixel devices, but the two newest models are getting a handful of improvements. One of the more notable ones would be increased responsiveness and startup speed of the Camera app. Here's the full list:

The Pixel 3 devices have been criticized by some for their performance degradation, especially surrounding the Camera app. This list of fixes should. hopefully, make things better. The devices were also affected by a handful of other issues that were solved in the December 2018 patch, so it seems Google is committed to improving the experience.

The update should be available over-the-air soon, but if you prefer, you can get the factory image from Google's website, as well as the full OTA image, which might be a little easier to do. In either case, you'll want to be careful with these procedures to avoid problems.
