Entroware is one of a handful of companies that exclusively sells computers that are pre-loaded with Linux-based operating systems. And the UK-based company has just added a new model to its lineup.

The new [utl=http://www.entroware.com/store/orion]Entroware Orion[/url] is a 14 inch notebook with a choice of Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 Skylake processors and a starting price of £450 (about $650).

The entry-level model has 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, 802.11ac WiFi, and a 1920 x 1080 pixel display.

You can also configure the laptop with up to 16GB of memory, and up to 2TB of storage (with HDD and SSD options available). Standard features on all models include two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI and VGA ports, an Ethernet jack, mic and headphone jacks, and a card reader. The laptop measures about 0.9 inches thick and weighs about 4 pounds.

Entroware also offers a 13 inch Apollo notebook, an Intel NUC-based mini desktop PC called the Aura, and several other computers. They’re all available with Ubuntu 16.04 or Ubuntu Mate 16.04 software, or with no operating system at all, if you’d prefer to install your own.
