There are many users reporting that Google Chrome doesn’t work with Microsoft latest operating system Windows 7 64 bit version. Here is solution to make Google Chrome Work on Windows 7 64 bit.

Run Google Chrome on Windows 7 64 bit Version

1. Right Click on Google Chrome Icon                                                   

2. Add –in-process-plugins after chrome.exe in Target field.

It should look like this,


3. Click Apply and save change.

4. Now start Google Chrome and it should work on your Windows 7 64 Bit Version

Google Chrome has actually now been updated to run properly without the need for this on the end as far as I know. However, you need to run it on the developer channel.

Go to here: http://chromium.googlecode.com/files/chromechannel-2.0.exe

Download the channel changer. Run it, click on Dev channel, and then click update.

Within Google Chrome, click on the gear symbol, about Google Chrome, and it will check for updates.

Update it, and done.

The developers did say, they didn't recommend adding --in-process-plugins to the target field.
