If you are running Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 on your PC, here’s good news. The Canary channel of Microsoft’s next-gen browser is now available for download. Microsoft Edge Insider builds were already available on Windows 10 and Mac, with today’s availability, Edge Canary is now on every major desktop platform. Microsoft also mentioned that the Edge Dev channel will be coming to Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 soon.
It is important to note that Edge on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 will support almost all the features that are available on Windows 10 and Mac. You can download the preview build here (http://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us/?form=MO12FW&OCID=MO12FW).
