Today, Oddworld Inhabitants have announced their release window for New 'n' Tasty: Spring 2014

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty — Teaser Trailer

Oddworld New 'n' Tasty is an remake of the 1997 video game classic, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. The game will also be available on PC, Wii U, Mac OS X and Linux a few weeks after the release on the Playstation consoles. It is developed by UK Studio Just Add Water and published by Oddworld Inhabitants who are based in California.

Here is an update for New 'n' Tasty!

Oddworld have released a bunch of screenshots from New 'n' Tasty which you can see here from the official Oddworld Website:

Plus, a website called Gameinformer have interviewed the development director of Oddwolrd Inhabitants who is Stewart Gilray and he confirms that the artwork is 99% complete and is expected the game to be sent to third party game testers in the next week for two, with submission to Sony for the PS3, PS4 and PS Vita thereafter.

The PC, OS X and Linux versions will be released a month after the Playstation versions.

Last week, I got very excited when Oddworld uploaded the GDC trailer onto their YouTube channel. The guys over at Oddworld still haven't gave me a release date yet but Cardicarus was the first man on Earth to play the new game!

Oddworld New 'n' Tasty is coming soon for PS3. PS4 and PS Vita and later on it will be released on PC, Mac, Linux and Wii U!

Today, Oddworld have finally announced the pricing for Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty!

The games will cost $29.99 in the USA, £19.99 in the UK and €24.99 in Europe.

They also announced the release window for the release date. They will be announcing the release date before E3 strats which is on the 9th of June. OWI also stated that: "The game won't be out before E3. Sorry - but that's our promise in terms of letting you when it will be."

There is a new New 'n' Tasty trailer just in time for E3!



The new trailer features a song which will appear at the end credits. The song is called 'Born to Love You' created by an Oddworld fan.

Finally! The news we all been waiting for!

Yesterday on the 9th of June just as Oddworld Inhabitants promised, they will be releasing Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty on the PS4 on the 22nd of July for North America and 23rd of July in the rest of the world including Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Well It's gone 12am EST now so that means that New 'n' Tasty is out on the PSN Store in the USA! Stay tuned as I  might be getting early access to the game before the European launch tomorrow and I can't wait to start playing, streaming and eventually make a speedrun!
