Dell actually doing a Windows Mobile smartphone?

According the the ever informative Digitimes, Dell is in fact doing a smartphone, it is not been delayed or rejected, and it may run Windows Mobile.

On a recent private visit to Taiwan Dell CEO Michael Dell has admitted to the project, and denied any delays, saying the device will be released in line with its internal roadmap.

Dell is apparently cooperating with Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) in developing its smartphone line, with Digitimes quoting Commercial Times as the source of the information.
