Here another Windows 7 activating tool. This time it’s better, its a very small file and I heard or rather seen comments of this working! Haven’t heard one of it not working. I think is uses the Lenovo’s OEM license key, the one Engadget wrote about earlier today. Don’t forget to read the nfo, for proper instructions.
From NFO: PS. if u have that hidden boot partition u need to assing a letter. run diskmgmt.msc (as admin) before u run the exe this loader is silent and hopefully will not cause so much trouble as wow7. However the interwebz are full of loaders some better some worst and some viruses.

Use the Windows 7 Toolkit 1.8 to remove any crack Note: when you still don't get it activated it's because you have a hidden Windows systemfile (100Mb) just give it a Drive letter!!!
How to give the windows partition (100Mb) a drive letter? first (diskmgmt.msc) then run the loader and reboot!

Now for the Not so good news,
I have discovered today while trying this on various machines it
DOES NOT WORK on custom built computers.
Therefore you MUST HAVE a OEM (HP, Dell, Sony, etc) built computer for this workaround to work.
Those of you who built your own system be patient, a workaround for Y'all is right around the corner.
Ps; NONE of the other Activators work on Custome Built system either.

Just did an upgrade from 7264 to OEM 7600 !!!!! Then activated with Chinese Loader and it worked also just as the clean install i did on my other drive. ;D ;D ;D

Vista OEM Product Keys
Definition of OEM:
The term, OEM (original equipment manufacturer) refers to companies that make products for others to repackage and sell. Resellers buy OEM products in bulk, minus the costly retail packaging that comes with individually sold units. The product itself is essentially the same as its more expensive, retail-packaged sibling. OEM products are used in many industries, but are perhaps most prevalent in electronics.
Generally, dealers of OEM products add something of value before reselling the merchandise. An OEM vendor that does this is known as a \"value added reseller\" (VAR). A VAR might build components, sub-systems, or systems from quality OEM parts. OEM goods allow VARs a wide range of creative marketing choices, which permits smaller dealers to be competitive in the marketplace.
OEM software will have different product numbers than retail packages, and support may be provided by the VAR, rather than the maker of the software. Functionally, OEM and retail versions of software should be essentially the same.
Two kinds of OEM Product Keys:
OEM SLP Keys:
* OEM SLP (System-Locked Pre-installation) keys are only issued to the big manufacturers such as Dell, Asus, Sony, etc.
* These are the only keys that are able to bypass activation that is, perform offline activation without contacting Microsoft.
* They will work with any OEM SLP system, regardless of the OEM system's brand i.e. Product Keys are not brand specific.
OEM NONSLP Keys:
* Similar to Retail, but distributed and supported by an OEM. Needs activation by phone or online and they are not brand specific. .
OEM COA Keys:
* OEM COA keys (Certificate of Authentication) are regular OEM keys that require activation, either by phone or online and they are not brand specific.
(you will find the sticker with the key underneath you Laptop or on the side of you PC)
* These keys will work in general same as Retail or Upgrade keys and can be used only once.
OEM SLP Product Keys activation:
* You need is an OEM SLP Product Key that matches the version of Windows Vista you have installed or are going to install.
(Home Basic, Home Premium, Business or Ultimate), plus the OEM certificate matching the SLIC table
* The OEM SLP Product Key does not have to match the OEM-brand certificate nor the OEM-brand BIOS ACPI_SLIC information.
(The only ones that need to match are the OEM-brand certificate and the OEM-brand BIOS ACPI_SLIC information.)
* SLP activation doesn't work with Vista Release Candidates or Vista Beta versions. Only the final version (RTM, Retail or OEM).
i.e.: A+B+C = Vista Activated Offline
OEM SLP Key + OEM Certificate + Full SLIC Table = Vista Activated Offline
If one (A,B or C) is missing, activation will fail!
Note: (the SLIC table can be emulated)
FAQ
Why so many different keys for the same edition of Windows Vista?
I believe it's mainly because different keys are issued to the same brand in different countries.
Also, like Volume Licensing, I believe Microsoft imposes a limit to the number of systems that can be shipped with the same license or OEM SLP key.
When the limit is reached, the Royalty OEM will buy a new license and a new key is then issued .
What is SLP 2.0?
This mechanism referred as 'SLP 2.0' ('system-locked pre-installation 2.0') consists in THREE (3) elements:
1. The OEM's hardware-embedded BIOS ACPI_SLIC information signed by Microsoft
Toshiba = “TOSQCITOSQCI00?
HEX: 54 4F 53 51 43 49 54 4F 53 51 43 49 30 30
2. A certificate issued by Microsoft that corresponds to the specific ACPI_SLIC information.
Something like 'oemname.xrm-ms'.
3. A special type of product key that corresponds to the installed edition of Windows Vista.
Is the OEM SLP license mechanism a crack?
There is no cracking here; the OEM SLP license mechanism was created by MS and is completely legitimate.
Where do these keys come from?
These keys were retrieved from OEM SLP systems that are being sold by the big OEM vendors.
Do I need to activate my Vista online when I use a OEM Product Key?
Yes, if you use an OEM COA Product Key or any other Retail or Upgrade Product Key
No, if you use an OEM SLP Product Key
Is MS going to black list the OEM SLP Product Keys?
No, these keys have been used by the big brands for thousand of computer with legally preinstalled Vista. If they black list those keys all these legal costumers would be affected too.
Why big manufactures can use OEM SLP Product Keys?
Large OEMs tend to ship large numbers of PCs with Windows preinstalled. The keep the process of installing the OS cost effective Microsoft has decided that these companies will be allowed to use the some key to preinstall Vista on their units.
Also, because of the direct relationship Microsoft has with those OEMS, the company has a higher degree of confidence that a genuine COA will be attached to each PC and that there will be accurate reporting of the number of units shipped preinstalled with Microsoft Windows.
I tried those Vista Ultimate keys here but getting an error saying something like to call Microsoft for activation?
Well, OEM SLP Key and/or OEM Certificate and/or Full SLIC Table is missing. Or the installed key is not matching your Vista Edition.
How to change the product key?
Launch command prompt window with elevated privileges (Admin mode)
type:
slmgr -ipk <new key>

ok thanks to pm I named the first little window area to drive b but it still kept saying it couldnt do it but does say its activated after you open the systems page for a few minutes it switches over to activated

the method i used to set up a fully activated 7600 install was as follows.
create a partition that uses all free space on the destination drive not using the windows 7 installer but any other program that allows you to format the drive. the 100mb partition problem only arises if you let the windows 7 installer create the partition.
then install windows 7 to the newly created and formatted partition as normal without entering a product key.
once the install is finished activate using the tool supplied by riso before (this one : http://uploading.com/files/N1635666/...er_ch.rar.html (http://uploading.com/files/N1635666/...er_ch.rar.html) - inside the rar is an exe file, run it and unless you read chinese, you should click the left blue text link when the app opens up. click it once and wait patiently, it will work. once it tells you it's done close the app.
reboot and windows 7 is now fully activated.
apparently this method will only work on OEM machines, i haven't had a chance to test it on my self build desktop yet (i'm using it on a dell vostro 1400 lappy).

i've since rebooted a bunch of times, used windows update, installed my full load of regular use programs and played a few games and had absolutely no problems whatsoever.

This is correct, it WILL NOT work on Home or Custom built computers. Unless you are willing to flash the BIOS to install SLIC v. 2.1, and we all know the dangers in flashing a BIOS especially if it is by Phoenix Technologies.

I personally am looking forward to owning the original product which I have already pre-ordered. At the same time, having this crack is very handy, just so I can use the RC etc until October without pissing around with the re-arm thing.

Hey guys, it seems I need some help using Hazar's activator. I've tried it a couple of times now, and all it does is make my pc unable to boot. I've had to take the long way of reinstalling w7 2 times now, and my oem Acer pc has a partition on it.
Basically, I need to know step by step how to use this activator, if I can. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I should also note that I have no idea what to do in disc management prior to the loader.

Hey, is there any way how to activate on my custom built computer? I have used many of activators and they said that windows is succesfully activated but after restart in Computer properties I see that windows is not activated.

I have a custom built PC, in fact I have two in the house. I put them together myself so they are definitely 'custom built'.
I have no problem using the Chinese hack. Can't comment on the Orbit one yet as I've obviously no need to use it now.

1)what is SLIC?
When ever you buy a pc/laptop from a vendor like Dell, Acer, IBM etc they come with SLIC bios. SLIC basicly contains tables that contain OEM information(Original Equiepment Manufacturer).this technology is embedded in the bios of the computer. the main advantage of this technology is that when M$ makes operating systems, they create a product key for each DVD that they are selling so that it can be installed only by the buyer. However when it comes to mass distrubution like Dell Acer, they create a RTM copy so that the dvd that is sent to Dell will only work on dell machines and non other. again this is varified by the DVD from the BIOS of the compter which has the SLIC infomation.Now when Vista was launched SLIC v 2.0 was created and all the laptops/Pcs that hit the marked from a vendor came with that version.Now when people installed vista from the OEM DVD in the OEM machine they never asked for any product key and it was already activated whareas if the same DVD is used for installation in any other Pc (Non OEM) then it will ask for a product key and also you would need to activate the product with in a period of time. So the hacks that came out for Vista was a Bios emulator which actually emulated the Bios of a real OEM , and it used to load while booting and post boot the certificates used to pass thinking it was a OEM. That was SLIC 2.0. but now M$ came up with SLIC 2.1, that means the laptops that has 2.0 will not install and activate DVDs created for 2.1. But hopefully we will have a 2.1 emulater for windows 7 soon that can be installed on customized PC/laptops like mine.

6)Question frequently asked: What is Non SLIC Option or Hazar Option 2 & other botton details in INFO?
: you have to follow these steps:
1- Install Win7 RTM or OEM version, 32 or 64 bits;
2- Run 7Loader_release_5.exe as administrator;
3- click "select task" button, then select the manufacturer;
4- click "none slic option 1" and WAIT until the message bla bla bla to reboot;
5- after rebooted the machine, run the crack again AS ADMINISTRATOR and now choose "Hazar option 2", WAIT the message to reboot again;
6- (Optional) you can record the information about manufacturer, selecting the desired one and clicking "Install information xx Bit" depending your plataform.
7)When you have multiple Partition here is an example how you could do it:
I have following partition
HDD 0 partition 1 Win XP Prof SP3
HDD 0 partition 2 Win Vista Home Premium SP2
HDD 1 partition 1 Win 7 Ultimate
Win Vista was activated with boot loader and boot loader is in HDD 0 partiton 1 & 2.
Activated Win 7 by 7 loader release 4 with following procedure.
1. Click Activate slic present button and wait for install window. Cancel it.
2. Click Non slic option 1 and wait.
3. Click Non slic option 2 and wait.
4. copy grldr from HDD 0 partiton 2 and paste it into HDD 0 partiton 1. (If grldr already exist, rename it for late use in Vista or else vista will get deactivated.)
5. reboot your pc and win 7 ultimate activated.
8) You don't like cracks?#: Look here:
Rearm is the best way to go for now# When the activation grace period (or evaluation trial period) is almost expired or ended, log on to Windows 7 desktop, and open a Command Prompt window (i.e. type Cmd in Start Search and hit Enter).
# Type any of the following commands into the command prompt, and then hit Enter: sysprep /generalize

The new version not only do not work on every PC ( I own two HP Elitebook 2710p that still cannot be activated using windows 7 x64 rtm), but also there are a lot of people posting in "mydigitallife" forums reporting that there are PCs that were activated with previous versions but not with the new one V1.1 from Hazar and Orbit. So, till now, let's continue waiting for the good utility that works for everyone. This release is prettier but not as useful as the previous ones.

Finally, after trying all day yesterday to get my Compaq laptop activated it's finally showing as being activated. I used v5, have only rebooted once since activation but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works.

If anybody has a problem with the latest Hazar/Orbit30 7loader working.
the easy way to insure. is
1. start -> cmd -(run as admin)
2. in the popup type bcdedit wait for the popup
3. Read the portion where it says your BOOTMGR is located.
4. copy the Orbit30-Hazar v 1.2 (last version i tested) to where ever the Bootmngr is located
it might be c: or n: or j: where ever it shows the BOOTMGR.
if you have ever used a crack or any type prior to
5. click remove all cracks. (wait for the popup to say clean)
6. click install 7loader
7. at popup click OK
8. wait until popup says reboot
9. click OK and then enjoy.

The latest version of 7Loader by Hazar and Orbit30 have a REMOVE ALL CRACKS. believe me it works.
also have found that for some who might have a problem. the 7Loader needs to be placed in the same location that your
BOOTMGR is located.
There is a nice program that will find and show you where your BOOTMGR is located.
it makes no difference if you do not understand this program - IT WORKS
start -> cmd (run as admin) wait for popup
type bcdedit (enter) wait for popup
the first part of the popup will show you where the BOOTMGR is located.
where ever it is.... write it down on paper so you will know.
the copy the 7Loader there.
run the 7loader and when ask click OK the last popup is say REBOOT.
enjoy.
I say this because my BOOTMGR is in N:\ and that is where the 7Loader must be ran

Hi All,
Today I backed up all data on both hard drives to an external HDD. Then reformatted & installed Windows 7 RTM x64 on my HP DV9700T Notebook. Everything went smooth as glass. Then came the activation process and from the stories I had read on our forum, I have to admit I was a bit hesitant, but sucked it up and started. See for yourself, the proof is in the puding.

Deactivates windows 7 and changes your build and removes your key as well and reverts back to xx days until activation.
To check what build you have use search function in regedit.exe and search for; BuildLabEx
You should find it in;

You have to download and install the updates manually. They won't appear on Windows Update as they were only officially released to manufacturers.
My guess is that, that these are not real hotfixes. These are test updates, similar to the test updates that they had for Beta/RC to test and make sure that Windows Update works properly for RTM. Just like the test updates, the updated files are identical to the original except for a version bump. Furthermore, I think that these tests were supposed to be internal to Microsoft (since they are not showing up in WU), but some n00b idiot saw them, thought that they were real updates (or just got excited over the "new version"), and put them on the Internet. I don't know if all of them are test updates or if some of them are real (maybe the 9xxxxx ones are real, and the rest are not?)... I'm not going to waste my time diffing their disassembles to find out. :P

I've tried 7Loader r5 under multiple different situations and methods, and every time it locks up my pc on reboot, on a black screen only saying "Verifying DMI Pool Data". I'm not sure what I can do at this point but wait for another activator.
I've been lucky enough to be able to boot from my W7 dvd and reinstall each time.
Pc info: OEM Acer built pc, W7 build 7600.16385

That's good advice there.
I personally have a 'True Image Home' backup of my Windows 7 Ultimate with apps etc as it is now, just in case Microsoft knacker up the Activation on it. At least I can get everything straight back on with Activation again, then turn off the automatic updates or whatever!

When I installed a CR "crack" it backed up my existing files (as .bak).
I reused these, and they are not the same as you provided here.
Maybe you only postet the 32 bit version, and not the 64 bit (my files are larger)?
Also, the poster after you mentioned the latest loader has a option to deinstall the RC crack.
I did not find such option.
And i'm still confused about how to proerly use the loader by Orbit30.
I'l continue trying.
First tries failed (still was the evauation).
It told me about invalid license key, but that a lenovo license file was installed successfully after the error message. Even though I selected dell!
To everyone that cant use the loader because they have previously used other cracks here is what i did and it worked.

It keeps telling me how many days remaining I have.
Might it be that microsoft has alsready done some blacklisting?
Or how to use the activator correcly?
With Vista is somewhat understood how the activation works, for Windows 7 I don't get it.
Does it install a loader? And/Or a license key?
I read the text from Orbit30 how activation is supposed to work but I don't fully get it.
Also, I see theres a loader called "Windows 7 Loader by Orbit30 & Hazar v.1.2" and theres the "Windows 7 Loader Release 5 By Orbit30". What's the difference?
I tried to revert to the RC crack again but that does not work anymore either.
How can I change the system back to a clean unchanged/uncracked state so I can retry all of it,
or at least use the RC crack again until there is a real crack that works for me?

If you are having a [problem with the Hazar or Orbit activator.
1. it is very important to place the Activator in the same location as BOOTMNGR.
2. BOOT MGR is also hidden, so to find where your BOOTMGR is located.
3. cmd (run as admin) wait for popup
4. type - bcdedit (wait for popup)
5. read the entry that show where your {boomgr} is located.
6. If the Activator is not in the same location it will not WORK.

So it does not explicitly state the drive.
I tried this on a new Dell Precision M6400 laptop with Vista preinstalled.
I shrunk the existing main paratition and installed Windows 7 on a new one.
Now I have 4 partitions:
1) a strange very small one whithout a real filesystem, listed as "OEM-Partition"
2) Recovery as NTFS
3) Vista NTFS
4) Windows 7 NTFS
It states the Recovery one (which is not mounted to a drive letter) as active, so this probably means the boot loader is on there..
So this probably means I have a problem as I cannot put the loader there and start it from there, right?
What do you suggest?
Is there a way to remove the changes that the loader/activator did to my system to start fresh (without reinstalling)?

Its to check if your Bios is Modded to cheat Windows into seeing it as an OEM Built PC.
You should know if you have used a Modded Bios or not, guess not if you need this lo*der.
Remove OEM Info :
This would remove the Asus Icon and Branding (Pure Example, any Brand) you see in "My Comp"
7 Activation Report :
Most likely runs CMD's that many peeps will not know so you can see if it actually worked or not.

On Tuesday Neowin reported that pirates were able to modify their BIOS and activate copies of Windows 7 Ultimate with a Lenovo OEM master key. Microsoft have worked with Lenovo to blacklist the master key before Windows 7 starts shipping with new PCs in October.
According to Alex Kochis, Director of Genuine Windows at Microsoft: "we've worked with that manufacturer so that customers who purchase genuine copies of Windows 7 from this manufacturer will experience no issues validating their copy of Windows 7. At the same time we will seek to alert customers who are using the leaked key that they are running a non-genuine copy of Windows. It's important to note that no PCs will be sold that will use this key."
Windows 7 is due to ship on October 22 this year and it's 99% certain that after this date more OEM keys will start leaking. According to Microsoft officials "Windows 7 already includes an improved ability to detect hacks, also known as activation exploits, and alert customers who are using a pirated copy." It has always been a cat and mouse game between Microsoft and pirates and it seems that it's 0-0 once again.
In related news, Microsoft announced yesterday that Windows 7 technical testers will be receiving a free copy of Windows 7 Ultimate on August 6.

HANG AT "VERIFYING DMI POOL DATA"
One day you are booting your computer and it stops on a black screen with a single message on it:
"Verifying DMI Pool Data"
This can happen for one or more of several reasons: (1) the boot files on your hard drive are corrupted. (2) the settings for your hard disk drive in the CMOS are incorrect. (3) the order of the boot devices in the BIOS is incorrect. (4) the BIOS is corrupt or has some incorrect setting. (5) there are loose connections to your hard drive. (6) the disk drive has gone bad.
If the boot files on your hard drive are missing or corrupt, you need to boot to a bootable floppy diskette which was made from the same version of Windows as your computer's operating system. When you reach the "A:\" prompt, type the command "sys c:" and press the Enter key. This should give you a message "File system transferred." Now you can try to reboot to your hard drive, after removing the diskette.
If you still cannot boot, you can boot to the bootable floppy again, and at the "A:\" prompt try using the command "fdisk /mbr" to rebuild the hard disk's Master Boot Record.
The settings for your hard drive in the CMOS may be incorrect. Use the key sequence required for you to enter the BIOS (usually, you see a message on the screen as the computer is starting up that says something like "Press Del to enter System Setup", which in this example is telling you that the Delete key is used to enter the BIOS.) Verify that the settings for the hard disk are on Auto Detect, or have the proper values. You can also verify that the order of the boot devices has been set correctly in the BIOS. Usually, the primary boot device is the floppy drive, and the secondary is the hard drive, with the third device (if any) being specified as the CD-ROM drive.
If none of the above corrects the problem, you may need to choose the option to reset the CMOS settings to the factory or default settings.
Perhaps you recently moved the computer or had new hardware installed in it. This could have caused connections to become loose or even broken. Verify that the cables for your hard drive, floppy drive, and CD-ROM drive are all properly connected.
If none of the above measures corrects the problem, your hard disk may have gone bad.

Just like to say that so far so good, still activated here.
I have a new Asus board (P5N7A-VM) which already has Slic. So I used the new 7Loader and installed Asus into the Slic on the Bios etc.etc. My thoughts are that I might as well stick to the same company info as the make of the board. I don't know whether this would help or anything against any future patches/actions by Microsoft? To be honest, my original copies will be arriving in October anyway, so I suppose it doesn't really matter! It just saves using that re-arming thing, and all this stuff is fascinating isn't it? lol.
Incidentally, now Microsoft have decided that they are no longer doing an E version for us Brits, they better not send me Upgrade versions in October, otherwise I will be using this cracked version beyond October!

Well, I guess I'm out of options. I don't have a floppy drive or floppy disk, so those options were gone from the start, and nothing else worked for the "Verifying DMI Pool Data" lock up. Looks like I'll just have to buy 7 when it comes out.

@ last its activated. Ive been trying for days. Several cracks crash my windows like the orbit loader 3,4 but not the 7Loader By Orbit30 & Hazar v1.2. The process will go normally but would not activate. Then i tried another thing that i did before for win server 2008. I modded my bios with Slic 2.1. After that i used the 7Loader By Orbit30 & Hazar v1.2 and now its perfect.

OK, guys, I would like to offer a bit of a perspective on this forum: First of all, Riso and the crew have done a fantastic work bringing the latest and the greatest to us, (b)leading edge fanatics;
Due to your efforts, this is the first Microsoft OS I am pumped about since Win'95 (I did not know better then). I have installed and played with all the leaked releases since 7100. I currently run 7600 RTM on my main computer. Now the issue of "hacks" and "piracy" - I use a hack, because I want to keep on using the OS before it finally hits the stores. BUT I have already pre-ordered (and paid for) 3 copies of the OS.
So, in the end, you guys have encouraged me to pay Microsoft for what is a very good system - mind you, I have never before bought 3 copies of any OS (two copies of O/S 2, but that's a different story....)

I have an MSDN subscription: try these keys. no cracks needed. i could be wrong but I think this is unlimited activation (meaning it doesn't expire). The key type says "retail". Again, I'm assuming that this means its the retail key and therefore no activation expiration. Again, I could be wrong. So far though all the stuff I've installed from MSDN subscription has never deactivated after a certain amount of time.

I think those keys are for the unlimited installs otherwise only 1 per customer and if they black list them all who has an MSDN subscription will need to get it again and will just end up here ;D
I use a key from a school that I got years ago for xp and I've lost count on how many times I've had to reinstall and its still going strong so if its the retail you have I cant see it going down anytime soon.

If You DON'T Have Slic 2.1 in BIOS:
Make sure you are disconnected from the internet.
1. Right click .exe, select run as administrator
2. Click on Uninstall 7Loader and remove OEM logo,wait, reboot
3. Right click .exe, select run as administrator
4. On the list find your name of motherboard
5. Click on the icon (installing OEM info)
6. Click on Activate Windows
7. Restart (in my case it was automatic)
8. Right click .exe, select run as administrator
9. Click on 7 Activation Status
Note: Step 9 is a Anti WGA Blacklister which stops your from getting blacklisted when doing windows updates so you MUST make sure you do the last step.
What is SLIC 2.1?
When ever you buy a pc/laptop from a vendor like Dell, Acer, IBM etc they come with SLIC bios. SLIC basicly contains tables that contain OEM information(Original Equiepment Manufacturer).this technology is embedded in the bios of the computer. the main advantage of this technology is that when M$ makes operating systems, they create a product key for each DVD that they are selling so that it can be installed only by the buyer. However when it comes to mass distrubution like Dell Acer, they create a RTM copy so that the dvd that is sent to Dell will only work on dell machines and non other. again this is varified by the DVD from the BIOS of the compter which has the SLIC infomation.Now when Vista was launched SLIC v 2.0 was created and all the laptops/Pcs that hit the marked from a vendor came with that version.Now when people installed vista from the OEM DVD in the OEM machine they never asked for any product key and it was already activated whareas if the same DVD is used for installation in any other Pc (Non OEM) then it will ask for a product key and also you would need to activate the product with in a period of time. So the hacks that came out for Vista was a Bios emulator which actually emulated the Bios of a real OEM , and it used to load while booting and post boot the certificates used to pass thinking it was a OEM. That was SLIC 2.0. but now M$ came up with SLIC 2.1, that means the laptops that has 2.0 will not install and activate DVDs created for 2.1.

Hve been testing Orbit30 and Hazar 7Loader - Activators, on several Home Brew Systems...
Version v1.2, v 1.3, v1.4 beta 1.0 W7TK 1.2, 1.3,1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 every version tested
all activated Home brew systems. The 7a series also worked.
All you have to do is "Place the Activator, loader or which ever program you have in the SYSTEM HDD,
you can also find the system HDD by locating the {bootmgr} It resides in the System HDD.
start->cmd (run as admin)-> bcdedit -> wait for the popup and loacate the {bootmgr} place the program there.
I have had 100% sucess on Homebrew desktops. Last count there was 9. all different Mobos, different type HDDs.
Last nite we did 2 Desktops, and 3 laptops, which other loader-activators had failed.

It does work and will activate all Win 7 editions.
But…
Windows 7 Loader eXtreme Edition 3 uses retail MSDN keys, this is misleading as it combines them with certs in the UI, making it look like an OEM key.
When the keys reach their maximum activation limit or Microsoft blocks them, this will become useless, unless Napalum has an unlimited supply of MSDN keys.
Back up your tokens.dat file if you must have a version other than Ultimate.
This Loader uses the Ultimate tokens.dat file (the activation file corresponding to the RTM Ultimate key). That allows it to use the Ultimate Oem-Slp key (Dell/Lenovo) to activate other editions.
However,
With the exception of Ultimate version, after using this tool, you may acquire a correct key for your edition and will not be able to change the key to your edition key without the correct tokens.dat file for your version. If you backed up your original file you will have no problem.
Hopefully a newer build of this Frankenbuild Loader will auto install the right tokens.dat file that will later correspond to your edition key.

I downloaded it and tried to activate my Windows 7 desktop. But I had very serious problem. After selecting 'reboot', I could not really reboot again.
Obviously this loader deleted my partition information. At a loss, I am reinstalling Windows 7, but I am not sure if it can be working for me.

As said above, I followed every step.
With Administrator's previlage, I tried to activate Windows 7. But after selecting reboot,
I could not reboot and found out that the first partition was deleted. After reinstalling
I could see the booting windows again.
Anyway I got the serious problem and someone who wants to use this to activate
should be aware of it.

Unlikely I mentioned before, I could successfully activate my Windows 7 Desktop.
After clean installation, I applied the activation immediately and I got a success.
Sorry for my mistakes.
But, now I have another problem. At this time, I installed the Ultimate version of
Windows 7 and applied the activation patch. But, I could not access the page
of personalization. It shows the message: This page is not available for this
edition of Windows<br> Windows Anytime Upgrade [See attachment]
Although I checked the installed version of Windows out again, it's obviously
Ultimate of Windows 7. I heard that the Starter version of Windows 7 does not
support this function, Personalization. Before applying this activation, surely
I could look at the page, but not now... >:(
One more strange thing is I looked at the slightly different dialog when I launched
the activation patch. Likewise others' example, it should be as shown below:

This activator like others one works on fresh install, that automatic install screen come when you run the activator on fresh install and no other loader has been used.
If any other activator has been used then the automatic install screen will not come instead manual install screen will come.
Thats why i have recommended sfc -scannow command so that all previous loader should be erased by this command. this sfc -scannow command restore the win7 files to its original state.

I am having trouble getting 7loader to get in boot-manager.
I have Windows 7 installed, but I can not get to Admin to use cmd and bededit.
I run cmd, get black screen. cd \ go get to C:\, I try then type in bcdedit an get a message the says" I do not have access to the data.
It is easier for me to speak then it is to type. I am In Illinois and wish to speak to some one to salve the problem.

Can anyone tell me what I will encounter after March '10 if I've activated W7 using 7Loader or something similar?
Does this stop it from being a beta, or will it still go into the 2 hourly reboot thing?

I'm not sure why anyone would still be using Beta. You will eventually want to upgrade to 7600. Once you do that and activate using one of these methods (or doing it manually, which is quite simple actually), it should remain activated until WGA or a Windows Update blacklists your key. Once Windows 7 launches this week, there will be a whole bunch of keys to pick from.

I suddenly got the "YOUR WIN 7 IS FAKE" notice yesterday. Downloaded a few activators today hoping one would work. Tried the above one first and it worked like a charm. Was surprised how easy it was. Just press install and that's it! The friggin notice in the lower right hand corner of the desktop disappeared as soon as the activator finished doing its thing. Amazing! I then cheked System in Control Panel and it showed my Win 7 was activated. When I checked before using the activator it said I needed to activate.

Can anyone confirm whether the new WGA Update (KB971033) creates the Not-Genuine message on a Windows 7 machine after using the DAZ's Activation loader (v. 1.7.7)? Would test it myself but I'm lacking a spare computer at the moment.

I installed Windows 7 Home, and Windows7 - Tiny 7 on test machines and ran patch 971003 Ultimate and Enterprise got water marked and the background screen turned black. Windows7 - Tiny 7 is still activated.

Some interesting info on mentioned cracks.
1. Hazar 2.2? actually disables some system files. ( very easy for MS to see and KILL via KB971033) so I do not recommend the use of.
2. Orbit30 ULoader 8.0 has slic and non slic activation available. make sure you test for SLIC prior to using.
2a. Orbit30 Uloader only has 1 major flaw... If you let it use DEFAULT settings, it does not always
1. apply Proper KEY
2. apply Proper Certificate
3. If the Certificate & Key does not properly match your system - it can be detected and KILLED my MS with KB971033 (verified and tested by me on several different systems.)
3a. FIX = Use the SCRIPT furnished by Orbit30 to Activate.
3b. insure the Certificate & Key MATCH... both should be for you Manufacture, ( Do not use HP Cert and PB Key.)
4. Noticed that several ppl have NO IDEA if they are SLIC none or SLIC 1.0 or SLIC 2.1 . there is a nice p[rogram called SLIC DUMP. located - download and run. (yes many of you will rec AV notice it has a VIRUS.. 99.9% of these are FAKE reports.) it does detect the SLIC or Certificate installed and reports correctly.
5. If you are SLIC 2.1 you are 99.9% positive to pass any Genuine Validation that MS sends.)
6. SLIC 2.1 passes and does not use LOADER to activate.... It reads the Certificate & KEY to Activate.

Here is the above mentioned script. I have tested it on 3 separate machines (2 desktops & 1 laptop) and have been successful with it. You MUST follow it exactly.
1. Install the leaked update (x86 is for 32-bit, and x64 is for 64-bit)
2. After you install the update and before you restart the computer, go to All Programs -> Accessories and right click on Command Prompt and run it as administrator.
3. Copy, paste and run the following command:
takeown /f "%windir%\System32\Wat\*"
4. After running that command, copy, paste and run the next command:
icacls "%windir%\System32\Wat\*" /deny *S-1-1-0:F
5. Type exit to close the command prompt
6. You are now protected from the update and can reconnect to the internet
