If you’re tired of all those MWC 2013 hotties and hardcore tablets, here’s a cheaper slate for you: Scroll Excel III. This model may not ring any bells for you, but it’s a 7 inch dual core tablet with Jelly Bean and a $165 price tag.

The appeal here is that this device has better specs then the cheap Acer Iconia B1, for a very low price. Scroll Excel III packs a 7 inch 1024 x 600 pixel resolution display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a dual core CPU. Under the hood we find a 1.6 GHz dual core Cortex A9 Boxchip processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot and 2 MP cam at the back and a VGA front shooter.

There’s even HDMI out included and a pretty reasonable 3,000 mAh battery, that should give you a couple of hours of fun with the tablet. Are you willing to spend an extra buck for a bigger brand tablet or ready to risk spending less for a newcomer?
