As part of June 2017 Patch Tuesday, Microsoft is releasing new updates for the Windows 10 Creators Update and previous versions with a new of fixes and improvements.

Windows 10 is getting cumulative update KB4022725 as part of June 2017 Patch Tuesday. This new release doesn’t include new features or big improvements, but it addresses a few issues with version 1703, which is still rolling out to PCs.

KB4022725 bumps the version number of Windows 10 to build 15063.413, and it fixes a particular problem with the Lock screen, Cortana cross-device notifications, as well as a couple issues with the Surface Hub, and Internet Explorer.

What’s new on Windows 10 15063.413

Microsoft has announced KB4022725 in its support site, and it’s referred as “June 13, 2017—KB4022725 (OS Build 15063.413 and 15063.414)”. If you’re already running the Windows 10 Creators Update (version 1703) on your PC and phone, this update will only address these issues with OS:

► Fixed issue where the user may need to press the spacebar to dismiss the lock screen on a Windows 10 machine to log in.

► Addressed problem with slow firewall operations on Surface Hub.

► Addressed issue where the Privacy Separator feature of a Wireless Access Point does not block communication between wireless devices on local subnets.

► Fixed issue where Internet Explorer 11 may ignore the “Send all sites not included in the Enterprise Mode Site List to Microsoft Edge” policy when opening a Favorites link.

► Addressed additional issues with time-zone information and Internet Explorer.
 
► Security updates to Windows kernel, Microsoft Windows PDF, Windows kernel-mode drivers, Microsoft Uniscribe, Device Guard, Internet Explorer, Windows Shell, and Microsoft Edge.

► Fixed problem on the Surface Hub device where using ink may cause a break in the touch trace that could result in a break in links from the pen. 

► Addressed issue with a race condition that prevents Cortana cross-device notification reply from working.

How to download this Windows 10 update

Windows 10 build 15063.413 (KB4022725) for PC and build 15063.414 for mobile is available immediately. The new update will download and install automatically, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and clicking the Check for Updates button.

Alongside the new cumulative update for the latest version of Windows 10, Microsoft is also issuing KB4022715 for PCs running the Windows 10 Anniversary Update that bumps the OS build number to 14393.1358, and addresses a slew of problems.

If you’re still on version 1511, Windows 10 is getting KB40227714 that bumps OS build number to 10586.962 that fixes several problems with that verson. And last, but not least, the original version of Windows 10 is receiving KB4022727, which bumps the OS build to 10240.17443 with a number of fixes and improvements.
