CES 2015: Wacom Launches The New Cintiq Companion 2 Tablet
« on: January 07, 2015, 02:27:34 PM »
After a few moments ago we found out about two new tablets designed for illustrators that were announced at CES 2015 by Wacom, now we get to know that beside these models we also have some new ones. More precisely we’re talking about the Cintiq Companion 2 tablet.

Wacom announced the Cintiq Companion 2, a Windows 8.1 tablet for digital content designers and artists who require the best stylus experience on Earth. The Cintiq Companion 2 has a 13.3-inch WQHD 2560x1440 display with its Pro Pen, which gives you 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and tilt recognition. Wacom promises limited glare and a realistic “pen-on-paper” feel to its Cintiq Companion 2 Windows 8.1 tablets.

The Cintiq Companion 2 can also connect to your PC or Mac to function as a primary or secondary display with the Pro Pen. Wacom expects to make the Cintiq Companion 2 tablets available in its Wacom eStore in February 2015.

The Cintiq Companion 2 will be available at the Wacom eStore in several configurations this February.  The Cintiq Companion 2 will be available for PCs with Windows 7 or later; available for Macs with OS X 10.8 or later.

There are 4 different models:
