For those of you who are as yet unacquainted with the Motorola Droid 2, the Droid 2, which is virtually identical in looks to the original Droid except for bevelled edges and revised buttons (the Droid 2 also uses the same battery as the original Droid), is powered by a 1GHz TI OMAP3630 processor and, in terms of key features, packs in 512MB of RAM (offering twice the storage capacity of the first gen Droid) whilst the Droid 2’s GPU remains unchanged from that of its predecessor – namely the PowerVR SGX530 GPU. Additionally, there’s a new keyboard which should prove easier in use thanks to offering larger keys, though the larger keys are at the expense of the original Droid’s directional pad.
