Title: Embedding Windows Media Video WMV file
Post by: javajolt on June 26, 2010, 03:14:10 AM
Hello Members and All who see this,

Today Friday June 25, 2010 Riso System Administrator and Developer of W7NI altered me that he was writing  code to Embed Windows Media Video (WMV) files into the body of our posts.

Look for the Media Player icon located below the B  (http://i50.tinypic.com/2a017hu.jpg) then insert the video link.  The file should start automatically, if not there will be a Yellow ribbon across the top of your  browser to click to run an add-on.

Here is a test file http://ecn.channel9.msdn.com/o9/ch9/0/7/9/6/5/5/IE95a_ch9.wmv (http://ecn.channel9.msdn.com/o9/ch9/0/7/9/6/5/5/IE95a_ch9.wmv) and here is the same test file embedded in the body of this post using the Windows Media Player Icon above.

I Hope this will add to your W7NI experience, and I am certain you ALL join me in Thanking Riso for this added W7NI benefit.

We have been able to embed youtube video for well over a year now.  Just copy and paste the youtube video address from the address bar and your done, nothing special needs to be done.
