Title: Windows 7 SP1 -- Background Watermark
Post by: javajolt on June 27, 2010, 12:35:34 AM

If you are considering installing this Service Pack have a look at this image First.

The end result shows Windows running, in this instance, Service Pack 1, v.178 with the text “Windows 7 Evaluation copy, Build 7601″ added to your desktop in the bottom right-hand corner.  This is common for Microsoft and text such as this is added with almost all beta software.

Since SP1 is Beta it will show the "WATER MARK" if you do not wnat the watermark to show there are several method to remove.
personally leave it, as soon as the Official SP1 is released, you will have to remove Beta anyway, then reinstall the Official. and
BAM the WATERMARK will be gone.... "PS: that also proves to all that have no idea" you are an Official M$ Beta Tester.
hahahahahahahahahahaha
