What’s the first thing you do when you get a $500 state of the art Apple iPad? You try to figure out if you can run 20-year-old classic video games of course. Or at least, that’s what some folks do… and at least one decided to go all out and create a docking station for his iPad that turns the tablet into a mini-arcade system.

The finished product might not look quite as polished as the iCade April Fools’ joke from ThinkGeek (http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/41/iCade.shtml?icpg=Carousel_iCade_1). But it’s still pretty darn cool, allowing you to play video games using a classic-style joystick and buttons.
