Post by: littlemax9 on July 14, 2010, 10:08:08 PM
Here is a Direct link to the newly released Microsoft WIndows 7 SP1 Beta (1.2Gb)

Any of the following links should work to let you download it. If they don't at the bottom of the page i added the main download link. All you need to do is sign up with a windows live id and select one of the IT choices under what you do as a profession.
I am not sure if this 1 will do anything with out being signed in but here is the download page. You can download a 32Bit Version via software update from here. You can download a 64Bit version via software update from here. Or you can download a 32Bit & 64Bit iso from this page. it is 1.2Gigs

Download Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Beta
Please Note: This early release of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Beta is not available for home users. The SP1 Beta does not provide new end-user features, and installation is not supported by Microsoft.

Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Beta will help you:

Keep your PCs supported and up-to-date
Get ongoing updates to the Windows 7 platform
Easily deploy cumulative updates at a single time
Meet your users' demands for greater business mobility
Provide a comprehensive set of virtualization innovations
Provide an easier Service Pack deployment model for better IT efficiency
In order to download and install the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Beta you must currently have a Release to Manufacturing (RTM) version of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 already installed.

Here is the direct link to where the iso is stored on Microsofts servers. if you try and do a download manger with any number of connections it will fail. But if you load it in a web browser there java based download manger should start and download it.

To let many of you know that "M$ also has posted that MANY will not be able to uninstall the BETA version. and there will need to be a "100% clean install" - why this happens M$ claims they have NO IDEA ... so unless you have a PERFECT BACKUP img of current install, prior to SP1B1 install - JUST TO WARN  -
How many this will effect is UNKNOWN ... Just to let you know... It is RECOMMENDED only VERY EXPERIENCED should DL and install...
