After testing the new equipment from March of this year, SK Telecom said it will launch its first commercial LTE network in Seoul next year and will complete nationwide rollout by 2013.

Before starting the new network, SKT will be adding more WiFi hotspots. The idea is to create 15,000 hotspots around the country by the end of this year, up 50% from an initial plan.
