Title: 'Mac' guy has a jailbroken iPhone
Post by: javajolt on August 19, 2010, 01:46:28 AM

Justin Long, the famous “Mac” guy in the “Get a Mac” Apple campaign has a jailbroken iPhone. How do we know? In his appearance to ABC show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” with Jimmy Kimmel last night, Long demonstrated a series of funny texts on his iPhone. At the end he switched back to the Home screen and there you could clearly see the Cydia icon, an indication that the phone is indeed jailbroken. There is another theory that says the iPhone was jailbreaked at the show in order to install the TVOutTuner app (available only at Cydia) and output iPhone’s screen in the big monitor. No matter, the story is funny and you can see the video below. If you don’t want to watch the full story, you can skip to about 7:00 minutes to see Cydia sitting on the home page.
