■ the keys of the keyboard stay protected when flap is closed
■ gives the user a feel of a business phone
■ lap mechanism is less complex to implement
Cons-
■ a bit out of trend design as the era of flap keyboards is gone
■ delicate handling as the flap can be damaged if opened to a greater extent

■ simple design
■ no need to open or close keyboard
■ rigid and strong architecture
■ comfortable to hold
Cons-
■ iphone and the keyboard together seem bulky as the size is increased
■ not stylish

■ stylish and according to the trend as people tend to like slider phones
■ takes less space as slider closes
■ still able to access the screen even if the slider is closed
■ strong sliding mechanism ensures good stability and handling
■ finger rest for a comfortable grip

■ a bit complex sliding mechanism which would result in slight increase in the cost
