Title: How to Turn the Menu Bar On or Off in Windows 7 Windows Explorer
Post by: javajolt on February 24, 2009, 09:29:57 PM
Not to harp on the Menu bar thingy, but some might like it in Windows Explorer too, so here are the steps to add it.

Keep in mind this easy TIP!
Pressing the ALT key will temporarily display the Menu Bar as well. You can then press ALT + the underlined letter of the menu item. For example ALT + F to open the File menu etc....

The static procedure is,

Through the Organize Button Menu -
A) Open a Windows Explorer Window.
B) Click on the Organize button and Layout.
C) To Turn On the Menu Bar - Click on Menu Bar to check it.
D) To Turn Off the Menu Bar - Click on Menu Bar to uncheck it.

Through Folder Options -
A) Open Folder Options and click on the View tab.
C) To Turn On the Menu Bar - Check the Always show menus box.
D) To Turn Off the Menu Bar - Uncheck the Always show menus box.
E) Click on OK.
