Thanks in no small part to Microsoft's unprecedented release of pre-production Windows 7 builds to the general public, application developers of all stripes have been figuring out how to take advantage of the new operating system's features well before it lands on store shelves in October. As a result, Windows 7-specific applications have already begun to appear, giving adventurous users new ways to exploit new features like the revamped taskbar.
