For a good read on the flavors we will see W7 come in go here.  If your looking for pricing, MS has not released that info yet.

It looks like there might be Free Upgrades from XP, also Free Upgrades from Vista till Jan. 2010.

i personally don't understand why it has to be released in several versions,i mean it can be just two versions if they really insist:
win7 basic(for basic users that don't demand a lot out of their pc)
win7 xtreme(for advanced,experienced users ,gamers, programmers)

i have to agree fully! when xp was released there were 2 flavors home and pro, and it has sold several hundered million copies.
