A look at video playback on the Nintendo 3DS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6LYmqkgbHw#ws)

This morning Nintendo surprised us all by delivering an update to the Nintendo 3DS system... and it was an OK Go music video in 3D. Neat!

It is, however, the "first look" at how we'll be navigating and viewing video content on the handheld. It's not as if Nintendo has been hiding it -- we've seen it before at press events -- but it's nice to see it running on a retail handheld.

For now, the only video content you can view on the 3DS is this OK Go music video. It's a standalone 3D video, but expect similar functionality when other video content (and Nintendo is promising a bunch) lands on the device after launch.
