Geohot, one of the hackers being pursued by Sony for unlocking the PS3, has fired a salvo at the corporation in the unlikely form of a YouTube rap song.

As we reported recently, Sony has already launched legal action against hackers who cracked secret codes protecting the PlayStation 3, including American George ‘Geohot’ Hotz and more than 100 members of a hacking group known as fail0verflow.
The technology giant is claiming that Geohot and fail0verflow’s actions amount to copyright infringement and computer fraud.
But now Geohot has launched a hip hop counter-attack – and it’s proving a massive YouTube hit, with over 850,000 hits so far.
During the rap Geohot explains to Sony that he’s the ‘personification of freedom for all’ and dares it to play the song in the courtroom.
We doubt the firm will take him up on his offer.
