e have just published yesterday that the latest Windows 8 build is build 7971, today the Chinese site win7china published that the latest build is Build 7973 with build string as 6.2.7973.0.110329. The build string states that the build was compiled on March 29.
They have also published another screenshot showing that when upgrading Windows 8 from Windows 7, the installation asks whether you would like to keep accounts, programs and personal files or not.
