Personally, the biggest benefit to me would be the new A5 processor, which can
handle 1080p output. This would be great for my H.264 J-drama vids
with japanese subtitles (transcoded using Handbrake and a customer iPad
Handbrake profile I found on the net).
Also, VLC (which was taken off the App Store a while ago, but is still on my
iPad), might actually run my vids at full-frame rate. The iPad 1 is too weak
to play 720p or 1080p vids using just CPU.
Anyway, it's not that big of a deal in the long run.
I could just wait for the iPad 3.
