Post by: javajolt on June 18, 2011, 04:45:45 PM
If you never play the default games that come with Windows 7, here's how to turn the Windows Games feature off – the easiest possible way.

First open the Start Menu and in the search box, type: windows features then Hit Enter.

This opens the Windows Features screen, where you can turn features on or off. Uncheck the box next to Games and click OK.

It could take a few minutes to turn off the Games feature.

Even after you disable the Games feature, Games still appears on the Start Menu.

To get Games off the menu, right click on Start and go to ITALProperties >> Customize ITALTK. Then, in the Customize Start Menu screen, scroll down to Games and select Don’t display this item. Click OK.

There you go! Now the games you never play are turned off and not visible on the Start menu.

If you want to turn the games back on at a later time, just go back into Windows Features and reverse the steps. Nothing to it.
