Thanx for the links , can't wait to try it out.
I was waiting for a trustworthy source to get it from.
Looks good from what I've seen so far.Will have to be some noticable changes for people to want to buy Win8;doesn't seem like 2 yrs ago win7 came out,and I was using for months before that.
I wonder if they'll have the big discounts for pre-ordering again,as I wouldn't be able to afford normal price.I got win7 from Amazon for 40 odd pounds.
I wasn't aware u could uninstall windows anyway.I was going to dual boot instead on Linux

This is just a Preview, and NOT the Windows 8 that will come available in 2012.  If anybody decides to install this version be advised it IS NOT A COMPLETE OS it IS very rough with many functions disabled.

I have now got a test machine,a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop with a Intel Pentium Dual Core CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 80GB Hard Drive. I'm going to load on the beta on all the PC's when it's avaliable in Feb.

You might give DP a try.... it installs on many a system that CP will not....
If you want DP it is available you just need to get other than from M$
