Named as Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 RT – Confirmed by Microsoft

Windows 8 would be released in just three editions (SKU’s) which would include Windows 8, Windows 8 professional and Windows 8 RT (aka Windows on ARM or WOA). These SKU’s were confirmed by Microsoft in a blog post on the official Windows team blog.
The news was previously leaked that there would be only three editions of Windows 8 but, we didn’t knew the official name of Windows 8 on ARM (WOA) which would be named as Windows 8 RT and the Windows 8 pro and enterprise would do the same work.
Windows 8 would be for beginners and home users while Windows 8 pro would be best for enterprises and professional users. Windows 8 devices running on the ARM architecture would be powered by Windows 8 RT which is designed specifically for lower power usage and it would also include the pre-installed Office 15.
