Microsoft has released a new patch which fixes 28 vulnerabilities  found in the Windows operating system, Internet Explorer , and Office productivity suite.

There are Seven bulletin out of which three are rated as critical which will deal with the security issue in the remote code execution.

The remaining 4 are rated important(not critical) and they deal with the security bug which grants administrative privileges to the hackers.

This patch will also bring a change in the Windows Update service. This has been done to fix the certificate issue which earlier allowed a malicious file to be passed and made available as a Windows Update.

"The new Windows Update "will involve deploying a new certificate that will be the only one trusted by WU clients, and that certificate only will be used to protect WU files." Kaspersky Labs explained.

Here are the bulletin id's of these fixes,

Critical: MS12-036 (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/bulletin/ms12-036), MS12-037 (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/bulletin/ms12-037), MS12-038 (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/bulletin/ms12-038),
