Title: Windows 8 PC Settings – Wireless
Post by: javajolt on August 01, 2012, 08:51:12 PM
You can manage all your wireless communication here. Wireless connections can include Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, etc.

How to Access It

 ■ Invoke Settings Charm either through the Charms Bar (http://www.windows8newsinfo.com/smf/index.php?topic=20987.0) or key combo “Win + I”.

 ■ Select “Change PC Settings” option located at the bottom of the Settings Charm pane (http://www.windows8newsinfo.com/smf/index.php?topic=20982.0). This will launch PC Settings.

 ■ Select “Wireless” tab from the left pane of PC Settings.

There is a switch in this section to nuke all your wireless connections. Turning it on will stop all possible wireless communication with your machine.

Besides that, you may switch off individual wireless devices. The only device that I possess is Wi-Fi. Bluetooth, 3G, 4G, etc. also usually shows up here.
