If you’re wondering what the best tablet out there is and the opinion of experts really matters to you, then you may want to know that the GSM MWC 2013 committee awarded the Nexus 7 with this distinction.
The device was named “Best Mobile Tablet” at the MWC tech fair in Spain this Tuesday. The tablet is said to have “brought credibility to the 7 inch segment” and if you remember, in our very own end of the year 2012 tablet top this device was also the big winner. For $199 it gave you the best Tegra CPU and one of the best CPUs on the market, the Tegra 3, plus 1 GB of RAM and a 1280 x 800 resolution.
Many criticized its lack of back camera or microSD slot, but in the end everyone could live with that or simply buy the version with more storage and also with 3G. For $199 this is even today a winner, although ASUS and Acer models are now undercutting that amount with new devices.
