The year between September 3, 2012 and August 31, 2013 saw many ups and downs in the MSFT, the stock of the IT giant, Microsoft Corporation. Starting from $30.82 on September 3, 2012 and ending at the $33.40 on August 31, 2013, MSFT went up by 1.36% .
The change in the MSFT timeline during the last one year is evident from the image of Bing finance app of Windows 8.1.

But during the last month, two following prominent news / leaks came from Microsoft which apparently caused a positive stir in the MSFT during the last ten day of August:
1. Enterprise version of the Windows 8.1 (Chinese SKU) was leaked on August 27, 2013
2. Final RTM Version of Windows 8.1 Pro (English) was leaked on August 29
The image of the graph of MSFT for the August 2013, displayed below, shows two different attitudes of the American stock exchange investors:

During August 26 – 28, 2013, the MSFT had a down ward trend which though was slowed down from August 27 to August 28 (Enterprise Edition of Windows 8.1 was leaked on August 27 and this Chinese version apparently had no effect on the stock investors) as MSFT did not show any significant change in the down ward trend.
On the contrary, when English Edition of Windows 8.1 was released on August 29, 2013, the MSFT went up, slightly, by 1.57%, i.e. from $33.02 on August 28 to $33.55 on August 29, 2013.
This simple analysis shows the likeness of Stock Exchange investors for the Windows 8.1, the update of Windows 8. Will Windows 8.1 affect the financial worth of Redmond-based Microsoft as well when it will be launched on October 18, 2013 as a final product for the end consumer?
