Unlike the previous versions of Windows, moving or relocating tiles on the Start Screen in Windows 8.1 is a simple 3 step process.
Step 1 Moving Tiles
Step 2 Naming and Sorting the Tiles into Groups
Step 3 Moving the Tiles
Lets have a closer look upon each of the 3 steps.
Moving Tiles of the Start Screen A new option, available in the Windows 8.1, is the multiple tiles move option, i.e. you can, now, move two or more tiles of apps at a time as a group. Just, follow the instructions, given below:
Press the tiles by right clicking or tapping.
Hold it on. For the selected tiles, see figure given below.

Now, move the selected app(s) by dragging them to the desired positions or groups. Thats all!
App Groups
In Windows 8.1, like Windows 8, you can create app groups and name them according to your choice, desire and wish. App Grouping and their naming has been made very easy and simple with Windows 8.1.
First of all, enable the customization and move your apps to separate location where multiple app tiles would make a group.
You can, now, create a new group by moving the app tiles between two groups
where a white vertical line will display the place where a new group would be created.
Sorting
Here, you can make and name different groups of app tiles on your Start Screen with your desired apps in each.
Group Name
Again, first of all, enable the Customization option by swiping from bottom or right clicking and selecting the Customize.
When your customization option is enabled, you would see the name group option on top of each app group.

Here, you can type whatever name you like to give to your group.
