We are all here to experience Windows 7 currently in beta, with the Release To Manufacture (RTM) coming soon. Take the poll and we all can see how we all feel about W7 and our plans of buying or not.

I probably won't be able to buy it at launch, but I do plan to get it.

Thanks for taking the poll, it will be interesting to see how the public at large will take to it after the fiasco called Vista.

I will be buying it at some point, but will probably do as I did with vista. Just purchased and installed at the beginning of the year on a new build from the ground up to take advantage of the x64. Because of the extended wait I think that I was probably alot less frustrated than the majority because it gave the vendors a chance to update their wares to not only work better with vista but also to jump up to the x64.
The only real hunt was for updated realtek drivers, Realtek did not make it easy to find on their website. Had no choice because for whatever reason, either random or certain websites; including the old link to this site would crash and do an automatic reboot. So far that is the only good thing I've seen come out of "solutions", it was correct on the required driver update.
The other thing is that most say that they are getting by with 2GB, mine runs pretty much all the time @ 2.8GB, but no problem as I have 16GB installed and recognized so I can go wherever and do whatever I want, whenever I want. Certainly no hicups on the video work as in the past.
So, I am one of those that is not going to damn vista, just took a while to get used to the navigation and to find things compared to XP.
BTW, can somebody help me to do away with the forced download location? I set myself up as the admin and have enabled all possible actions in profile but am still forced on download to save under user/ /documents instead of where I want to save them.
