Although the name MOMO doesn’t ring any bells and doesn’t seem inspired, this brand has released two new tablets, the MOMO8 W and MOMO10 W, that actually sound like solid Windows 8 devices. One of them is pictured below and the design isn’t half bad.

The case seems made of a soft touch material of sorts and it features metallic buttons on the side, the volume and On/Off ones. At the back there’s a camera that seems to be more complex than usual, especially because we can’t clearly see its mechanism. I’m guessing there’s also a flash in there. MOMO8 W features an 8 inch IPS 1280 x 800 pixel display, an Intel Bay Trail-T Z3735 quad core processor, clocked at 1.33 GHz and Windows 8.1 as the OS.
There’s also WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and front and rear cameras. The MOMO10 W is a 10.1 inch model with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution on an IPS panel, 2 GB of RAM and Windows 8.1 as the OS. The battery is a 8200 mAh unit and all that’s lacking now is a price for these newcomers.
