With the recent arrival of the new Windows 10 January Preview, a number of new features and changes came included. One new change is the Start Menu, which for some has become a pain to use with the new Continuum mode. Luckily, the code for the old-style 9879 Start Menu is still present, meaning it can be re-enabled with one simple registry tweak.
We've compiled a super quick video tutorial for your video pleasure, which we've embedded below. However if you dislike videos, here's our quick written tutorial:
◾ Right click on the Start Button and select "Run"
◾ Type "regedit"
◾ Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Explorer > Advance
◾ Create a new DWORD (32-bit) value, call it "EnableXamlStartMenu"
◾ Restart Explorer
